On November 2, Canada Visa Center has made major adjustments(3)
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please note that from November 2, 2018, the Visa Application Center of VFS Global China and Canada will accept applications and collect fingerprint information according to the new service requirements. For more information on requirements and application submission services, please visit for more information.
Applications submitted after 17:00 on November 1, 2018 must be prepared in accordance with the new requirements. Mailing applications prepared in accordance with previous requirements, such as arriving at the visa centre after 17:00 on November 1, 2018, will affect the visa processing process and may result in the return of application materials.
For applications received on or before November 1, 2018, the Visa Center will continue to return the application materials or results to the applicants from November 2, 2018 to February 1, 2019. The applicant will be notified to receive the application materials or results.
The Visa Center will return all unacknowledged visa result envelopes and a detailed information list to the designated Office of the Canadian Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC) on February 2, 2019. The IRCC office will coordinate the return of these application materials or results.

Please note that all applications submitted from the date of fee updating/adjustment will be subject to the new service fee rates.
Mail application is based on the date of acceptance of the center. The visa center will contact you to correct the difference in service cost.
